SALMET whisk drying

Product descriptionThe SALMET whisk drying system is patented and especially engineered to guarantee a quick and energy-saving drying of the manure. This system ventilates with air moving flaps instead of blowing warm air onto the manure via convection or heat exchanger. The ventilation system ensures constant air circulation within the sheds and irrespective of how large the units are - uniform air exchange to provide best climatic conditions. The zigzag battery version is another option to the proven whisk ventilation system. The manure is not removed unidirectionally, but the manure that comes from the cages is transferred from the one tier to the tier below. Special metal sheets evenly disperse the manure over the entire width of the conveying belt. The process of falling from one tier to the tier below keeps the manure stirred and aerated. |

SALMET egg lift
the gentle method Additional information
Product descriptionThe SALMET egg lift moves the entire egg cross conveyor from one tier to another. This way the eggs are collected from each tier at a time. A control unit decides whether to start or stop the operation, chooses the tier level to be collected and defines the speed of the egg belt. The mobile cross conveyor is raised with a lifting device and is lowered by gravity. The egg lift is equipped with a brake to avoid the conveyor from falling and prevents eggs from accidents and damages. Each device has an infinitely adjustable speed control mechanism for the egg belt, offering a maximum egg conveyance of 7.000 eggs per hour and work floor level. The gentle handling of the eggs from the mobile egg cross conveyor to the packer, over the stationary egg cross conveyor, is guaranteed by safety latches and assures highest achievable egg quality.

SALMET egg cross conveyor
with flexible metal rods and plastic bars Additional information
Product descriptionThe durability of metal rods with the advantages of the plastic bars. The conveyor is extremely durable and allows a very gentle handling of the eggs. The egg cross conveyor is convenient for short and long distances. The conveyor side channels are very low, which allows direct transfer from the elevator to the cross conveyor. By using an articular joint, different inclinations from up to 18° (32%) are manageable, without having to stop production. The egg lift system is equipped with a telescopic shaft, moving the entire egg cross conveyor from one tier to the next.

SALMET manure cleaning aggregate

Product descriptionAll SALMET belt battery types are equipped with this unique SALMET system which is very strong and manufactured with hot dip galvanized metal or stainless steel. All bearings are maintenance free. Uniquely designed drive rollers and pressure rollers, driven by a duplex chain, keep the manure belts operating trouble-free. The SALMET standard V scraper - made of Nirosta - with a double edge made of stainless steel, ensures perfect cleaning of the manure belts from one end to another This guarantees the most hygienic environment for the birds. An easy to handle retaining mechanism allows effective release and removal of the manure scrapers. Upon request, a centrally managed drive unit allows manure gearing by concurrent operations on all tiers at the same time.

SALMET manure drying tunnel

Product descriptionThe SALMET manure drying tunnel ensures a reduction of the moisture content of the manure to 10-15%. The manure that comes from the cages is carried in a zigzag motion from the upper tiers to the bottom tiers. During this process 'warm' air from the sheds or air from natural environment is blown directly onto the manure. The combination of solid and perforated belts guarantees a fast and cost effective drying of the manure. The final product can either be used as a natural fertilizer or be further processed into pellets.Another positive aspect of this quick drying method is, that the proteins are not transformed into ammonia and therefore the ammonia gas expulsion is decreased to more than 90%. With this innovative and odorless processing system SALMET contributes to sustainable environmental protection and provides a final product which is manageable and easy to store. |
